Please note, you will need your passport and Yellow Fever vaccination card.
Pick up is at 7:00 a.m. at your hotel when we will head to Banjul to the ferry crossing point at Barra which I can guarantee will be an eye-opening experience!
We transfer to an open topped jeep and drive to The Gambia/Senegal borders to have passports checked and stamped.
After the border formalities, a thirty-minute drive will take us to Fathala Game reserve - an area that consists of approximately 6000 hectares of original and protected forest, providing guests with the opportunity to visit an original stretch of the African wilderness in its original condition. Here we will drive for a couple of hours, spotting antelope, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, rhino, monkeys and pretty, colourful birds.
The tour will retun to Barra where we will have lunch. We will drive through a local village on our way back before joining the ferry to Banjul and return you to your respective hotel with many Safari memories.
